Is the honey I am purchasing raw or heated? During September/October the honey may be raw, at other times it has always been re-warmed slightly to package it. Honey is stored in barrels, after a few months every barrel is solid and it has to be warmed.

Please Note - We do not have drop in customer service at the farm when our sales stand is not open.

extracting honey

(picture on right) Frames of honey are loaded into our extractor. The extractor can hold 33 - 9.5 inch frames or 66 - 6.5 inch frames. The extractor is a centrufuge and will spin the frames at three different speed for about 30 to 40 minutes.
